two climatic zones (sub-tropic and temperate) meet, usually avoids weather extremes. This
unique location attracts wildlife indigenous to both climatic zones as well as coastal and
migratory species. Of course, the weather, beaches and local amenities attract human visitors

of 12,800 swells to as high as approximately 30,000 during the peak tourist season.
