Milo Hamilton

Milo Hamilton is beginning his 24th season as the primary play-by-play voice of the Astros on radio. He joined the Houston Astros organization in 1985!
• In addition to making his resonant voice familiar to thousands of Houston baseball fans throughout the season, he also hosts the off-season live talk show "Astroline."
• He has been broadcasting Major League Baseball since 1953. His previous Major League experience includes stops with St. Louis Browns, St Louis Cardinals, the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Atlanta Braves and the Pittsburgh Pirates! He served as a play-by-play announcer of the 1979 World Champion Pittsburg Pirates!
• The list of honors and awards are AMAZING in numbers as they started in 1962 and continues to grow even this year!
• His first of
FOUR Hall of Fame honors began in 1992!
• Mr. Hamilton has helped raise more than
$25 million for various charities as Master of Ceremonies at auctions. Some of these charity events include but are not limited to, the March of Dimes, Epilepsy Association, City of Hope, American Cancer Society and Leukemia Society of America.
There is so much more to list but I would be writing forever! In closing, I would like to say, "Thank You Milo for being an Amazing Man and helping so many others! You are what helps make America Great!"
