Florida Citrus
Sports picked Maryland (8-4) to play Purdue (8-5) in the Dec.29 Champs
Sports Bowl, then paired SEC runner-up Arkansas (10-3) opposite
Wisconsin (11-1) in the Jan.1 Capital One Bowl! These are two teams
and a group of fans that seem happy to come to Orlando and we are
excited about them coming!
Can you believe it has been 23 years since Maryland has played in the Citrus Bowl? Arkansas'
last trip to Orlando was for the 1999 Citrus Bowl, which lost to
Michigan in Houston Nutt's first season as Razorbacks coach.
The
ticket allotment for the teams in both of these games is 12,000, and
officials at Maryland and Arkansas said they believe they'll exceed
that amount. Tickets are available online at FCSports.com and through Ticketmaster.
